    Good value machine

    I am happy with this little ash vacuum cleaner representing fair value for money. However, emptying is best done outside or the good work its done will easily be undone. With care and experience it does not have to be a messy affair but there will be dust escaping no matter how careful you are. It could really do with a crevice type nozzle tool to be complete for my use.

    Poorly thought out Design.

    To start off my review the cord is to short and it doesn't reach to the wall socket so I have o use an extension lead. The suction hose fell apart after the first use and had to be stuck back together. The hose is far to narrow so larger ashes constantly get stuck or when you are carrying it the ashes ends up coming back down the hose falling over the floor. It does have strong suction but soon gets clogged up as the dust gathers around the filter and not in the ash tin also when cleaning the filter it's not that easy to get off its a dirty job. I would look out for all of these points if I was to purchase another one.

    Good product, does the job, wish it was cheaper

    Well made, works well with or without paper filter bags. Filter does block after a few cleans without bags but with bags 6 weekly fire Ash removals can be made. Only snag, metal suction hose nozzle good for use in wood burner but can scratch hearth. Plastic alternative end would give it 5 stars.

    great solution for dust control

    Although intended for removal of ash etc I am using it in conjunction with a non electric sander which is used with a vaccum cleaner, however a normal household vac will soon clog up but so the Ash vac has worked a treat and by conecting the hose directly to the Ash Vac ALL dust was collected, Fantastic.
