Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Portable GPS Systems
I am no expert on GPS so let me say that from the start. I bought this GPS mainly for going out with the family, walking, biking and a bit of Geocaching. For me it has so far lived up to all it promised. I bought some OS maps for it but at the moment prefer to use the free openstreet maps available on the web.. yep for free. http://www.openstreetmap.org/ These seem to have a lot of detail on them and better than the OS ones I have. Back to the unit. I bought this one as it was not touch screen and looked like it was pretty rugged. It is. The GPS, as far as I can tell is accurate and reliable always finding my way back to where I started. I just have to remember to mark the waypoint to begin with. Using it to Geocach is great and you discover areas, even near home, that you did not know existed and yet you most likely walk past them daily. I know that I have. Anyway I rate this GPS highly and if I was going through the selection process again I would buy it in an instant.Read full review
