    PILOT Civil & Military Airband Air Band Radio Scanner Magnetic Antenna Aerial

    I bought this aerial and attached it to my Uniden scanner. It has made a world of difference by enhancing the channels I normally scan and bringing other 'marginal' channels 'out of the mist' and into the realms of being able to hear them clearly. The aerial is not too long and is great for an indoor setup with a small round stand, generous amount of co-ax and a BNC fitting at the end which connects to most scanning radios. This aerial is a great performer and I may need another for my Tandy scanner as I don't want to take this away from my BearCat.

    Outstanding !!!!

    Had a trip out to Bristol Airport to see how my Bearcat 125xlt scanner performed with this new aerial. It was fantastic !!! I was picking up pilot conversations with Bristol Tower from over the Brecon Beacons a good 40 miles away, with superb clarity. I would have no hesitations in recommending this fantastic aerial.     Airband mini whip antenna

    Good VHF/UHF airband performance. Be aware the magnetic base is quite weak. The antenna might fall off a car roof whilst moving at speed, as the antenna is quite long for the strength of the magnet. Ideal to use whilst stationary at an airfield.

    Tried this antenna as the original one I got with the receiver wasn't too good, wasn't expecting much as the price was really low. It's fantastic l was gobsmacked how it improved the reception money really well spent.
