a reasonably priced piece of kit and quality seems OK. Bulb is very large and possibly at risk of breaking as there is no protective cover for it and in the rush and tumble of setting up culd be dropped - it is the "compact" fluorescent type. An LED bulb would have been better and smaller.

Delivery was fine. Instructions were minimal for a beginner however YouTube helped out particularly when putting the bulb in. But on my first attempt the bulb popped! There was a burnt smell and just like that, the softbox was deemed useless.

This was a very last minute purchase for a shoot I had two days after purchase. It came so fast, securely and I was able to track the purchase. The softbox itself is high quality, and is easy to assemble for anyone! It came with an extra lightbulb which was really handy. Overall, I definitely will be buying more in the future as needed!

For something that is clearly “made in China” (its unashamedly labelled as such), this is one for them to be proud of. As far as I can tell, electrically sound (proper UK plug, fused, appropriate flex cable etc) and a remarkable amount of metal in the construction. A couple of loose end-threads where the soft materials are stitched, but that’s it. The bulbs are fine - I might suggest using brighter ones - you get two bulbs per unit (so a twin pack has four bulbs). Comes with a good fabric carry case and lovely packaging. Would definitely recommend.
