Totally brilliant lens and compliments the A77 Camera well. Two minor quibbles, it is heavy but more importantly the zoom ring is at the front when most other lenses it is at the back. I was able to get it via eBay for less than £600 whilst Sony list it at £850. Brought in from Hong Kong and hardly ever used. Sony accepted the registration and gave two years warranty. I simply could not afford £850. Very happy bunny!
This is the cheapest long reach lens for Sony full frame at the moment.. Despite the fact that the lens extends a fair way out it is nicely balanced on my A7ii. The images are very sharp at both 300 and 70 at open. Close down a little and every thing is pin sharp. Don't believe all the bad press about this lens. It's got more reach than the 70-200f4 and it's seems just as sharp to me. Very happy with this lens.

I have found this lens to be off such high picture quality, that i feel that it is money well worth spent. The build quailty is very good as well.
