This is my first Schmidt Cassegrain telescope and the optics are really good quality. I was only looking for an OTA and this was available at really good price. These hold their collimation more so that reflector telescopes and with the primary lens at the front the unit is sealed from any dust getting onto the mirrors although this can still happen (nothing is airtight.) Also for the same focal length these are more compact and easier to move around. All in all a really good beginners scope I'd fully recommend one of these before spending a lot more, here's a picture I took with the telescope I didn't have time to setup properly I just wanted to see if I could get the camera to focus.
