This is great. It isn't a well known expensive brand and that goes in it's favour. It has a decent gap between the trimmer blades which posed no problem cutting the top out of my lleylandi conifer hedge. It's got plenty of poke and offers angles on the pole and trimmer that I assumed I would not need but found extremely useful. It's very light, actually the lightest I found, and to change angles and heads is well easy. I haven't used the pruner yet as it only arrived yesterday, but it cut my 30" x 7ft hedge in about 30 minutes and I didn't even need the extension pole. I'd recommend this to anyone, in fact I already have!

worked well for a few weeks then the plastic chain sprocket guard was chewed by the chain on several occasions and became almost detached.The guard is now not really protecting the chain and sawdust etc is fouling the chain area.The supplier was unable to replace the guard unless I sent a photo or sent it back to them but I really only want a guard and a new chain as a spare but no one anywhere seems to have any spares for the GMC tool. I am willing to pay for the spares as the tool was doing a good job until the sprocket guard was chewed up by the chain.

Really pleased with the machine so far. I've given it some heavy work to do over the last 3 days and pleased to see it coped well.Issues with lubrication though, no manual so I used medium chain saw oil for chainsaw but it was too thick so had to drain and use thinner engine oil.

A well balanced tool due to the fact that the motor is in the handle. The head swivels and lock easily and the reach is sufficient. It's a pity that the Hedge trimmer "blade" is not a little longer, but that is a minor criticism.
