I already have AKG K702 headphones but they’re open-backed so I got these closed-backed phones so I could listen to my music while the wife watched her telly without us disturbing each other. These K92s go louder than the K702s on my iPad so that’s good. The sound quality of the K702s are slightly better but not by very much. The ear pads are slightly smaller on the K92s but still big enough. They are excellent quality and value for money.

I wanted a reasonable priced set of headphones, which delivered good sound quality when listening to my hi-fi and these fit the bill. Well priced and solid with a comfortable self adjusting head strap which feels pretty lightweight. The ear cups are pretty big and bigger than I was expecting, but you soon get used to them. The sound is good and the individual instruments are picked out well, but I think the vocals are sometimes a bit lost in the background. Overall I think they are well worth the money and would recommend them if price is an issue.

Previously had the AKG K550 which were more than double the price, these sound just as good and are lighter and more comfortable, the self adjusting headband is genius. Only thing it lacks is a detachable cable, long cable limits you to indoor use.

These headphones have a great music range and auto fit your head! I have a valve pre-amp feeding a solid state power amp, the sound is as good as my Tannoy speakers, a bargain!
