Tbh I bought this to do a body swap with a Sunburst partscaster. So it now has a really nice lacquered maple USA neck and an Entwistle bridge pickup but the rest of the parts and the neck pickup were good enough to stay on the butterscotch body. It now looks great, sounds great and plays as well as any Tele can. The sunburst body with Squier bridge pickup and neck is also a fine guitar and will be sold off locally to cover the costs. However I would add that the Squier as supplied was a very good guitar for the price and needed very little work to set it up. My only complaint would be that the toggle tip was not a good fit. I prefer the barrel type which will fit either USA or Chinese toggle switches.

Squier rarely put a foot wrong and this Affinity Series Tele is no exception. Great feel and lovely clean sounds. The neck pick up has an acoustic sound to it which is lovely. Highly recommended.

Well made, great sound and a great price. What's not to like? I'm sure a professional guitarist would point out flaws in this guitar but for me this is a very nice axe at a fraction of the price of an American made tele. It looks sublime with the black pickguard and maple fret board. An affordable beauty.
