This is lovely tv and I have set up on my wall, the only issues I can say is the sound quality is not that great it sounds tinny, and yet you adjust the setting to bass boost and the eq and it just rumbles so I turned eq all on normal and bass boost off. However this is easily solved by just purchasing and sound bar as this tv has the ports necessary. I love the smart features in this TV such as catch up TV and netflix, the remote just has one button for netflix which is great. I managed to watch 4k through the wifi with no trouble, there is just 1 wall between my router, but this tv also has Ethernet port anyway. Also another point is that I noticed the lips were out of sync, this is related to the Film Sense mode being turned on, I turned it off and problem went away. Picture quality excellent, though struggled to get my Freeview remote to operate the on/off on the TV, after adding the given code, it worked switching the TV on and off once, then failed to work again until I re-entered the code? Also as I only have the TV connected to my Freeview box via a dish and have no Ariel, the menu option does not let you adjust the the picture settings in freeview, and you have to go back into TV (which in my case is just a blank screen) and guess the options. The sound is pretty 'pants' when the volume is turned up as there is a vibration/buzzing noise from the set (as if something is loose inside the TV) All this said, its a great picture and I guess a boombar will fix the sound issue, and getting an Ariel will sort the picture adjustment issue....

Remarkable value for money for a 55" smart TV with a good picture and online facilities. Others have commented on the poor sound quality and I do agree with this assessment. Its perfectly fine for news etc but (like most tvs) lacks punch for movies and sport. Its lighter than my older 48". Setting up was easy and connecting to wifi easier still. The only issue i had was that the tv's legs are placed on the exterme edges of the set and point outwards making it too big for my current stand to bear that in mind before purchase. Remote control isnt great with a bit of respoinse lag.

This would have 5 solid stars if it wasn't for the sound on it. I can't fault the image quality, it's a little dark in some areas under the original settings but once you fiddle with it then it's brilliant. On the other hand, the sound quality isn't that great, even after playing around with the settings, it still sounds rather tinny. I hooked up my surround sound which sorts the sound straight away. Other than what I have mentioned, it's an overall brilliant tv. Very much worth the price you pay.

Been looking for some time at smart tv's. My old Samsung has been a fantastic tv but not smart. This Toshiba was a good price so I went for it. The picture I cannot believe the difference from my old one. Smart is good but the picture alone was worth the upgrade. Fantastic definition beyond my expectations. Well worth the price, would recommend to anyone. Only gripe is the sound is not the best. Will be getting a sound bar I think to complement the picture.....
