A well known brand, A fraction of (fitted) price quoted by agent (£150) so for a few moments checking on web on how to locate battery and fit, less than half hour of my time , a considerable saving . SO in my opinion an absolute bargain for my purpose on Stannah stairlift. I feel that these Lucas batteries should last equally as long as the original, 3 years but in the unlikely event they only last a year, I would still save £90. If you can change them, go for it.

Purchased these batteries for sons scooter as his batteries were getting tired, on arrival fitted them but scooter barely moved stall, thought that’s ok maybe don’t come charges, so charged them with correct charger.. still same? Took them out and charged them overnight with another charger.. still dead..!omg what a waste of my time and a disappointed son.. to sum up I wouldn’t recommend these batteries as were in date but dead.. but perhaps not the batteries at fault in this case maybe previously used?

I bought a used aquasoothe 4 wheeled to enable me to get around the garden, the batteries needed charging about twice a day, then finally wouldn't hold their charge any more, the rating of the new Lucas batteries is less than the original ones but after putting them on charge overnight they sent the power indicator beyond the 'green mark' I am very pleased with the performance so far.. the scooter doesn't get used often, and will probably get 2 more to go in a spare battery casing that I have. The batteries in the Brooks Lincoln Slimline were six years old and in recent weeks started to struggle taking the chair upwards. Obviously the charge was not being held sufficiently as the age and use of the batteries started to show. I chose the Lucas Batteries as replacements which were listed as the same specifications and size as the existing pair installed. They arrived very quickly, well packaged and almost fully charged. Being sealed batteries they are clean, easy to work with no risk of spillage. Changing the old for new was very straightforward and there are plenty of online instructions to open the covers to do the job. After I completed the job, which took around 45 min, I turned the charger back on and the batteries were indicating full charge after 30-40 mins. The stairlift is now working perfectly again and the job done at a fraction of the cost. Unless you know you have a dead/faulty battery out of the pair installed, always change BOTH of the batteries at the same time. The batteries have a 12 month warranty.Read full review

1 of 2 - My ancient UPS packed up totally and was as a result close to being put in the bin, but finances did not stretch to a replacement so searched eBay for replacement batteries and found these online. The price was right and the site listed my old UPS so took a chance and ordered them, they arrived quickly and once I had found out how to strip the UPS down to replace the old batteries, they fitted easily and now it works again and is also quieter in operation than before. Returned to service at a fraction of a replacement price, just needed a bit of technical knowledge in getting to them inside the UPS casing without any instruction on my specific 15 year old units. The old batteries were recycled in my local tip when I was passing by a few days later. I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review just to see how they performed in service, excellent!!!Read full review
