Not my choice of rod but he seems to like it, I pointed out to him how weak the struts to the rings (very easily bent)were to the rod, something he had not noticed before as he has been using one for the past 3 months. If he had of noticed he may not had asked for another. The blank is as expected from shimano, good quality with a good finish, the reel seat is of the usual quality too.
