Steamer seems reasonably durable, and cooks well - once you can work out how to set it. The setup sequence isn't very intuitive, and my wife and I almost came to blows trying to work out how to set it for 20 minutes. We found the manual not all that helpful. Also the buttons are stiff, and you need to hold the back of the thing to avoid pushing it across the worktop! This looks like digital just for the sake of it; our previous steamer worked perfectly for years with just one knob, in an atmosphere of perfect marital harmony. But it IS effective once it's fired up, like the Vonshef soup maker we have. I'd still recommend it to others.

Didn’t last as long as my old one, wasn’t long before one of the steamer trays broke. The plastic around the buttons cracked and came away. It’s still useable though.

Great product. Bought this for my son to take to Uni as he eats clean and normally spends a lot of time boiling everything separately. Only had a chance to try it out a handful of times but can see that it will save him time, take up less space and generate less washing up. My only gripes are a) the plastic stacking cooking 'pots' are very flimsy and feel like they'll break when washing up (not good for heavy handed young men) and b) at the end of cooking the water from the bottom reservour seemed to have risen higher than when I started, and into the removable base and it felt really dangerous when trying to pour it out after cooking. Better side grips/handles whilst pouring would have helped here. Will also try using less than the recommended water and see if this helps. Other than these, very happy with this product and would have given it a 5 star.Read full review
