WE decided to upgrade our cordless phones to take advantage of newer technology, such as background noise elimination, set one up set all up operability, and by and large I'm not dissatisfied. The handbook is as ever a jumbled mess so you do need to read it through then pick out the various pages for steps you want to complete, which in this day and age isn't good enough. The phones themselves are very nice - very comfortable, mic and earpiece are ultra sensitive and the speakerphone option is one of the best we've ever had, picking up conversations from a good 3-4m away from the handset which makes it ultra useful if you're in the middle of something when the cavity insulation guy rings up Battery life is stunning - about 10 days on standby and you can be on the phone for an hour and see no change in battery status. Buttons are easy to use, very precise in operation and the whole package just oozes quality The one downside is the menu, and it's enough to downgrade it a whole star. It's APPALLING - it looks like Windows 3.1. OK, this isn't Panasonics high end series and I know you get what you pay for but kiddie graphics in a 2012 model phone? It let a bloody good package down, badly. On the positive side again, we bought the Ansaphone Trio and the answering machine is really good - clear, plenty of volume and the default outgoing message is absolutely superb, someone has taken a lot of time to get that right. I'd buy this again tomorrow - no question, menu notwithstanding, and recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade. One other bonus to a setup like this is the ability to add extra handsets - the base station can handle up to 6 so for a larger house, small business or even a garage phone it's damn near perfectRead full review
I think for the money its good. The buttons a little small for my fingers but saying that i don't use the land line that much. I'm happy and i think my neighbour has one aswell as i can hear the same ring tone.

This is the the third Panasonic phone that I have owned, and I am a little disappointed. The practicalities are good - 3 handsets, lots of functions and an affordable price. The down sides are the appalling ring tones available, and the 'tininess' of the sound. It really sounds cheap when talking and listening. Apart from that, it's OK.
