Whilst easy to set up,on one setting keep getyi g lag issues and distortion of picture and using another setting video unexpectedly stops and has to be restarted....not a patch on my old dongle

might be TV problem , must have Smart TV not just basic TV + HDMI port , coz distance is less than 3m between desktop and TV but signal sometimes is about 8-9 sec ....sometimes appears in 0.1sec and screen freezing in many coloured cubes .Online dongle settings not available , coz cant find that http:192.168.203.1 and cant set up . Cheap is cheap - thats for me as a lesson .

Not needed for new smart TV's as they have screen mirroring and wi fi built in. Great for older TV's and monitors though. The online setup videos are over the top , just plug in and it connects to wi fi on its own , then set screen mirroring on the phone settings that's it.
