Instructions a bit vague - but easy enough to work out once you get started. Works well with a 50m hose that previously was getting kinks and generally tangled up without a reel. So overall a good purchase ...

This is a simple hose reel - just what I wanted and at a good low price. Almost! The design means it is unusable without modification. The three metal frame sections push into the plastic central sections where they are held in place by small plastic 'plugs' which should slot into holes in the metal sections. Unfortunately, the plugs do not stay in place as there is insufficient spring pressure behind them meaning that the metal frame sections pull or fall out. I rectified this problem by drilling and securing with self-tapping screws, but many owners would not be able to do this.

The quality of this product is absolutely atrocious. Worst of throw-away design. The box says 'body of steel' - that is genuinely an outright lie. The poles, which are the only metal bit in the whole thing, are made of some cheap rubbish metal (not steel it'd weigh about 3 times as much), and don't stay in the slots - having loaded it with 20m of hose (there's no way it takes 60m of any decent hose), the one that acts as a handle just fell out on lifting it, and it fell and immediately the hose end 'park' (where you stick the end of the hose on to stop it flailing about) just snapped off. Honestly, total junk without a redeeming quality in it. Apparently made by Park Land, will have to remember to avoid any shop that sells their junk in future...

This reel is so lovely and light. I brought for the water hose in our caravan which was just thrown in a cupboard. We now have it on the reel making it very easy to unwind and rewind and keeps it nice and compact. It is also very easy to put together.......
