Perfect for a beginner telescope. It comes with 10mm, 25mm eyepieces and a 2x Barlow lens. Very easy to use as a beginner, comes with a red dot finder (aim this at the object you want to observe). For £100 or under, you really can't do any better. Please just don't expect to get Hubble quality images and you will not be disappointed! :)

Bought this as a starter scope. Really nice and sturdy and lots of detail. I’m well positioned at the moment for Jupiter and can see all 4 moons clearly and the larger banding on the planet. The moon looks amazing. One thing I’ve learned is that atmosphere plays a big part in sky watching so if the seeing isn’t good the size of your scope doesn’t matter and you’ll have to wait for a calm moment to discern details. The eye piece is a bit awkward to lean over for long periods but side viewing is fine.

new to star gazing and a bit heavy handed with it. moves about a lot but that is just me but I am getting there

a good first scope, although not cheap for the image quality. the red dot finder mount on the side of the scope is not really practical.

Nice telescope but instructions (for a novice - which is who its aimed at) are a bit useless, particularly for the sighting unit. Also the supplied lenses aren't really powerful enough
