You MUST charge the toothbrush for 24 hours before you use it then you will have a reliable brush to clean your teeth with. I love the fact that after 2 mins of using it pulses so as you know that you have brushed your teeth for the recommended time. I have been using it twice a day for the last 6 days now and it's still going from just it's initial charge. At first I found the actual brush a little hard as I have sensitive gums but when I read that you shouldn't put much pressure on it really was so much better, it does all the hard work as you just gently move it back & forward around all your teeth. I have 2 wisdom teeth right at the back of my mouth which I have always had problems cleaning, (having to use a tiny interspace brush) but with the clever design of this one I can get right to the back and around these teeth. Cleaning your teeth with this brush is so very easy and you are left with very clean feeling & looking teeth it gets in between all those pesky little spaces where food particles can get stuck and it's a pleasure to run your tongue over your teeth after to feel that sparkly clean feeling. I use it with Oral B Pro Expert all Around Protection & the 2 together really do clean my teeth so much better than any other manual or battery powered brush I have used.Read full review

I already have one of these toothbrushes, and it's been excellent in every respect - can't fault it, it does the job, is easy to use, charge and store. As they are increasingly difficult to source, I thought I would buy another as a spare. However, this one is designed for the European market, with plug prongs that do not fit the UK two-pin bathroom socket. It came supplied with an adapter plug - fine except this has a UK 3-pin socket on the end which, of course, does not fit in the bathroom socket. So I can't charge it in the bathroom. Maybe somewhere in the small print it might have said this, but it should have appeared in bold. I have kept it, because the new base charger will work for me abroad better than the uk one, and I travel a lot. I'm hoping the old UK base charger won't go wrong because I can use it with the new brush, but overall not a satisfactory purchase.Read full review

Great toothbrush and using an electric toothbrush makes a difference but I don't find much difference between the cleaning power no matter the price. I've used a more expensive one but it's the same quality. Bit annoying that there's no conversion plug so have to buy one seperate.

The toothbrush arrived in quality packaging & well presented. I duly charged the product overnight (12 hours) and upon use found that the brush immediately slowed down when under light pressure with the teeth. I subsequently put the product on charge again this time for 24 hours - when I came to use it again it was exactly the same plus it stopped altogether. I have had Oral B brushes in the past and never really had any problems. What I am annoyed about is when I complained I was met with a whole raft of excuses why they would replace the product in fact one reply implied I did not know how to use an electric toothbrush !! by the way I am a qualified electrician!!

This is the most inferior of the Braun toothbrushes I have had over the years - it does not have a charging light, does not last as long, and does not signal over intervals to control your brushing times. Only bought it to replace my previous one which worked like a dream for well over 3 years, and I do not think this one will last as long. It does thte job though. And not too expensive.
