To be honest, the print quality is just a bit lower than my normal inkjet, but still absolutely acceptable. I might use the inkjet just for photos now. However, the economy of this printer surpasses everything. I can now print my work without worrying about expensive cartridges. This is a revolution in printing.

I was shocked to discover it contains no facility for automatic double-sided printing. It also has only one place to load paper for printing, at the top rear which has to remain open and therefore collects dust. I should have checked these things before buying, but the notion that a modern-day printer costing an above-average price should not have automatic double-sided printing or more than one paper-loading point never even occurred to me. My ancient Canon Pixma MP560, which finally gave up after at least a decade's service, had both automatic double-sided printing and two paper-loading points, one at the top rear (which I used only to print colour photos) and the second being a bottom drawer which closed and therefore avoided collecting dust. My old Canon moreover never -- and I mean, never - jammed. This useless new Epson has already had repeated paper jams, requiring me to reload in mid-job.Read full review

I bought this printer because I can put whatever ink I like in it. There are no expensive cartridges to replace, just refill the tanks when the level falls. Epson claim around 2 years domestic use from each refill. Scan resolution is unremarkable, but perfectly acceptable for everyday use. Recommended.

The wifi link part of the printer is a bit of a pain to set up, but you end up with a low cost, high quality, easy to use machine that does exactly what you want it to do....print, copy, scan.

Easy to operate and a lot of ink. The print is fine for home use and works with thicker paper quite well. I used some "canvas" print paper for a photo to be framed and the quality was very good, better than on plain paper. Even though I haven't used up the ink yet the process looks simple enough with EASY ACCESS to the reservoirs. I've gone through the last twenty years refilling cartridges, using the CISS systems and this one is going to be by far the easiest one to refill, and yes those other systems were time consuming, tricky to do and messy. I purchased mine and a refurb with full ink for £100 in 2019. My elderly mother wanted more ink cartridges for Christmas some I bought another refurb for £100 which should last her lifetime and I don't have to keep replacing them for her!
