So far I've only used this to polish out a minor scuff to the clearcoat and I'm pleased with the results. I'm not sure whether the results would be as good if the scratch was down to the basecoat though. Time will tell.

Cutting car paint is not to be taken lightly. All I can say if you feel it's required take your time and follow the instructions better to be to light handed and have to do it twice. I used it on my 50 year old pride and joy on couple of heavily marked areas and was delighted with the results.

I enjoy building bikes as a hobby so I use this to get the final finish as smooth as glass. It removes any haze from either spray paint or lacquer leaving it shiny and silky smooth. Obviously you get the same quality finish on your vehicle or if you have an older car then you can use this to remove the effects from the sun and weathering on the paint and restore the original colour and sheen. This is worth every penny and I always have several tubes at home. Thankyou.

I used this to take a crappy, scratched and dented piece of clear acrylic down to a mirror finish with nothing more than a start of wet & dry paper, then this stuff on a damp/soft cloth. Heard about it in a Youtube video so quite by accident. Will do the same to car paintwork, acrylic baths, and shower enclosures. This stuff is amazing.
