This is a greatpiece of kit and it all works but I would suggest (and this is true of just any angle poise boom out there as they are all made in the same Chinese factory) are the following: 1. Use a G-clamp to hold the base on, mine fell off under the weight of a cheap MXL condenser. The clamp provided is too light weight. 2. The acoustics of the arm are better if you make a fabric tube and put it over the boom, this looks better asthetically too. 3. Use pipe cleaners, fabric or foam between the srpings and the boom to deaden the springs - they are like a big spring reverb and resonate to everythign you say, thi sis picked up by even cheap condensers. After these mods, which as-said you'd have to do to any cheap arm, the thing takes on a new life and it quiet, reliable and robust. Certainly worth the money! :o)Read full review

Obviously the microphone is not what you get and the text makes clear that the pop filter is extra too but the shock mount/holder is not included either! Instead you get the usual, simple slide in holder. A bit like the stall holder with juicy ripe apples at the front of the stall but gives you green ones from the back! Minimum thickness metal quickly distorts if over tightened. Clamp thread strips easily if you try to tighten enough to stop the clamp from moving. Looks ok but not really good enough in quality and what you get.

this is a no frills but surprisingly sturdy mic stand. i think pretty much all the companies selling these on ebay are selling the same thing with a different name and price. All metal design so there are no weak points except the screw in the middle but it seems firm and stable. i fitted my own mic clip which came with my microphone and im happy as larry. It also folds up so small you want believe. Very happy with this product.

At this price I thought this item would be of poor quality. I was wrong. It's fully adjustable, sturdy and even hold the weight of my vhf microphone. Excellent value for money and robust. Not quite professional quality, but better than expected.

Good, cheap stand, sturdy enough to comfortably hold my relatively heavy Samson C01 condenser microphone, however the clamp was advertised as being 5.5cm in depth, but it is closer to 4.8cm, so be careful when ordering (make sure to measure your desk).
