First the weakness: the phone can be prone to software issues which cause the operating system to become corrupted.. mine started loosing capability java games, themes etc. I think this has something to do with the way it was unlocked. This can be fixed with a re-flash (£20-£30 in most shops); to be on the safe side I'd suggest getting one which is locked to your chosen network or one that has been completely de-branded. If you want a good solid camera which is also a very usable phone the Sony Ericsson k800i is one of the best around; I'd argue that it is better than many of the newer models. At 3.2 Mega-pixel it is good enough for all day to day snaps. The xenon flash makes it good indoor and out. The BestPic feature is nice, this takes nine picture in rapid succession; it is very good for catching a smile on our 4 month old and our dog. The only snag is that it the auto-focus has a noticeable delay, you can however get reasonable pictures with this turned off. What I really love is the blog feature. All you do is select a picture and "send to blog". A blog is automatically created, the picture is posted and you get a text with the web address and log-in details; all following pictures are added to the same site. It is perfect for sharing pictures with family abroad. Also it means if you loose your phone you have a back-up of your favourite pics (albeit in lower resolution). If you get free web use for topping up (3, Virgin) it is like sending loads of picture messages for free. The one thing I'd change is the joystick as I find it is easy to press in by accident while navigating. Also the calculator is rubbish.Read full review
Love this phone, purchased it as ive had my old sony for nearly 5 years and was looking a bit tatty. Cant think of anything I dont like about this phone. Bought another one because I like the style and easy use of the sony Ericsson K800i. Recommend this phone to anyone wanting good quality mobile. Camera is exceptional too.
Unbeatable as a backup/emergency phone, and so easy to carry. This is the third one I've bought over the years - I have two operational as backup phones, one I use and one kept in my wife's car. The latest was a replacement for one I damaged, though they are quite robust in fact.

found easy to use, considering i am an old technophobe, camera is brilliant, all the phone applications are self explanetary on screen. It is robust, without being to heavy, and i can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about this phone, having looked and tried other phones (advertised as easy to use) i have found K800i to be the best for me.
Best phone I ever did have . What a mobile tough and strong . No complaints with low memory or battery life . Not to mention the outstanding camera selfies weren't famous in those days but I took plenty in the mirror with my k800i . Defo need another in my life wish to God I could get good internet on it . If that was the case I'd never buy another model .
