    Reasonable Quality, Useful tool for getting hard to reach clamps

    The item Works good, quality is reasonable, the item feels well constructed and capable of doing the job, the locking part of the pliers does look like a weak point as it would be easy to round this if your not careful when applying the lock, and the little spring in the clamp at the end of the cable is a little flimsy but it does the job. All in all in a useful tool that is essential to reach some hose clamps in the engine bay. Should be abit cheaper in my opinion to be considered value for money.(dont need those 'free gloves').

    Very poor quality

    This product arrived in good time, but after we used it 6 times one of the lugs that secure the clip sheared off completely. This vaused a rapid release and injured my friends hand . I will seek to get my money back. This is made from poor quality materials. Do not buy these.

    Great low cost tool that does exactly what it is meant to.

    A very useful bit of kit especially if you own a TD4 Freelander or Rover 75 cdt. As they use the spring type hose clips on all coolant hoses, most of which are easy to see but awkward to get to. However with this tool it was a doddle. The ratchet locking mechanism is very useful but could do with one more tooth at the end of the travel. Only regret is that I did not buy one sooner.

    It works for me...

    I have struggled with using pliers and mole grips for too many years and modern cars are becoming a plumbers nightmare so I decided to treat myself to the specialist tool. The remote clip can be attached at almost any angle and the pliers lock when you stop squeezing. Regarding quality this is adequate for the home mechanic like me but I do not think they would stand up to professional use.

    Great tool

    I needed this tool to reach a hose clamp deep in the engine bay of my W203 C Class. Without the tool it would have been impossible to reach. With the tool, it was unbelievably easy to release the clamp. A brilliant feature is that the tool has a ratchet, so it holds the clamp open until you choose to release it.
