I was a little worried when I ordered this. Would it arrive quickly? Would it be decent quality? Would it deliver USB 3 performance, 10x quicker than USB2? I needn't have worried. The answer to all these questions is "yes". It arrived from Europe fully wrapped in retail packaging, in days. It is a good looking object, not the smallest, but relatively compact, and very quick on a USB3 socket. I really noticed the difference over USB2 when downloading groups of folders totalling about 50Gb. It has proved reliable, too, coping with nested subfolders and files with ease. Whether it will last well, I cannot say, because it is too soon, but I am optimistic it will. It seems solid and well made, and I doubt Philips would have lent their name to an iffy product. Oh, and it is backwardsly compatible with USB 2 and 1.1, too. Seems a good piece of kit at a good price.Read full review

My last one did not past 2 months, and I was not able to write contents to it for more than 3 Windows or Linux ISO. The fourth time, it hanged, and had I/O error while just performing a XCOPY to it (from the Windows 10 ISO). The files transfers were corrupted, but the key is now locked in readonly mode, and can no longer be formatted. The internal firmware definitely has a bug. And there's no way to remove that readonly mode (even when using Windows registry key, diskpart to remove and recreate the partition). Note: this is the same model as the 64GB Kingston key for USB 3.0. Visibly the type of NAND cells used inside is simply incompatible with USB 3.0 speed and is rapidly dead. And this key has absolutely no way to recover (no space cells, no error correction, no remapping, no automatic reduction of capacity to handled dead cells/sectors, the firmware inside is simply too basic) Even though I bought it 2 months ago, Philips does not want to repair or refund it. Don't buy it! Really bad purchse!Read full review

Great reliable product and good value, i like the fact it lights up red and you can see it despite any way you have to fit it to your device. I am using this in a Freeview TV in one of the bedrooms to record on,, no problems.
