Sturdy and Does the Job
Product is sturdy and well manufactured. In use it seems more than strong enough to support my weight on even steeply pitched roofs. Fitting is rather fiddly and complicated by the need to adapt to different rung pitches - hence the two fishplates with U-bolts used to attach to the upper ladder rung. Careful alignment of the kit is called for to ensure that when deployed, the hooks engage squarely onto the roof tiles without risk of cracking them.Product is sturdy and well manufactured. Great item transforming standard ladder into a roof one. Lots of bolts and nuts but with a little help of an impact drill driver it takes no time at all to attach it to the ladder and dismantle later on. Good quality of manufacture. Can't say just yet how durable it is but feels long lasting.

Straightforward design and sturdily constructed. All new bolts with washers and nylok nuts supplied. Good value for occasional use, but be aware that this item turns your regular ladder into a roof ladder.

Never bought or used one before so difficult to compare - but it certainly did the job I purchased for. A bit tedious (although straightforward) to assemble. A ratchet type socket is very useful. So overall a good product at a good price.
