These speakers are a good option when replacing OE speakers; they offer good full range sound, clear top end and the mid bass is respectable. The only failing is the low end, so much so I thought they were out of phase. However after investigation they were correct polarity wise. In combination with a sub or other low end frequency speaker they'd compliment the overall sound without question. Just dont expect too much bass.

There is a definite increase in sound quality compared to the standard speakers in my car. At first I ordered and fitted just the 2 front speakers which was an improvement but seemed to expose the stock rear speakers for what they really were. I would strongly recommend upgrading front and back together to get the fully rounded sound upgrade you are no doubt looking for when buying these. Alpine doesn't disappoint.
