This camera takes great pictures especially in low light because of its F1,8 lens.Never hardly the built in flash is needed.Very usefull device sometimes prefered over my EOS 5D Mark 2 with the 24-70mm f4 lens,and that little camera does a great job by the fracture of the price of my other SLR equipment.And because of that little weight and size it is always with me. This camera is highly recomended even for serious photografers,whereelse do you find a zoom lens equivalent to 24-105mm with F 1,8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can tell you "nowwhere"!

Upgraded from the S120. Much better low light capability and with more nearly double the resolution more effective zoom range. The 1 inch is a significant upgrade. It's not however quite as pocketable as the s120 which fits neatly into a cycling jersey rear pocket

So basically I've just got a dslr camera thinking that it would be easy to work with but it turned out to be a workout on its own. I thought I'd invest in this camera and I'm so glad I did. For one, the image and video quality is amazing and second, it's so easy to handle, fits right in the pocket. And the flip screen helps a lot. The only minor issue would be the quality of the mic, which picks of the wind noise but it honestly isn't even that bad especially if attach a wind muff .
