John LewisRoman Blind Sidewinder Kit

This kit contains all the components to make a beautiful Roman blind with a maximum drop of 200cm; simply choose the fabric that takes your fancy (available separately) and follow the instructions included.

Each kit contains:

• A head rail
• Middle and bottom bars
• Headrail end caps
• Screws and joining bars
• Roman blind hooks
• A safety clip
• A cleat
• A chain connector and chain pull

When fitting your blind, you must fit the safety device provided with the blind to the wall in order to tie up the pull cord safely out of the way of children and pets. For safety we recommend that you move beds, cots and furniture away from any window fitted with a blind that has a side control mechanism, even with a safety device in place.

To prevent the formation of potentially hazardous loops, which could endanger children, this product incorporates a primary breakaway system. These components are designed to come apart when undue force is applied to the blind cords or chains.

This breakaway system is easy to reassemble in the event of the cords or chains being pulled too hard, and breaking away accidentally in use.
