AEG HK764403FB Induction Hob

In addition to high-speed heating, the AEG HK764403FB Induction Hob offers self-sizing cooking zones and great energy efficiency. Induction technology means it heats only the pan and nothing else, meaning its surface is cool to the touch during cooking so spillages can be easily wiped clean even when its four heating zones are in use.

Flexible zones
The hob's MaxiSense technology means that each heating zone detects the size and shape of the pan you’re using, how ever large or small. It immediately turns on heat to fit the pan bases exactly. And when you’re cooking bigger quantities, you can use the Bridge function to link two cooking zones together. So, instead of four independent cooking zones, you can set up two extra large zones to share the same temperature and time setting. This Bridge function makes it easy to exercise complete control when you're using larger or long pans.

Instant heat
The induction hob means no more waiting around for pots to come up to heat. A PowerBoost button gives an instant burst of heat that can boil water in seconds rather than minutes – meaning the hob is even faster than an electric kettle. It’s perfect for high temperature tasks such as searing meat, as well as straightforward jobs like boiling vegetables. The variable power of the hob makes it possible for you to melt chocolate without having to use a bain-marie, for example.

Precise control
Direct Touch controls help you produce perfect results every time. Slide controls with 15-stage display indicators enable you to turn the heat up, down or off and deliver an instant, accurate response to the pans in use. Control options also include a Stop&Go function, which gives you the option of halting cooking at any moment. Plus, there's a Stay Warm facility to keep food at just the right temperature, ready for serving when you want.

Please note: If you have a heart pacemaker, do seek advice from your doctor before using an induction hob. Please also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
