Dylon Machine Dye With Salt, 350g

Perfect for both home and fashion projects, the Dylon dye is simple to use and produces fantastic results which will remain permanent. This pack contains everything you’ll need to get started on your first project including 350g of dye and salt which opens up the pores of fabric allowing the dye to be properly absorbed.

To get started weigh your fabric to check you have a sufficient amount of dye, then simply empty the full contents of the Dylon Dye pack in to a dry drum, pour over 500g of salt covering the area where powder was added and run on a 40 degree cotton programme. When the complete cycle has finished, add your usual washing detergent and run a 40 degree cotton programme.

Please note, to produce the best and most vibrant results we recommend using Dylon Pre Dye to remove colour from fabric so that it is suitable for dyeing to a lighter colour. Dylon Dyes are not suitable for use with polyester, nylon and synthetic fabrics.

Hints & tips: to avoid staining your washing machine or subsequent washing, please add your usual washing detergent and run a 40 degree programme with the machine empty.
