Delivering music just as the artist intended is High-Resolution Audio. This refers to a collection of digital processes and formats that allow the encoding and playback of music using higher sampling rates than the standards used in CDs. As a result, you can enjoy High Resolution Audio over Wi-Fi and near high resolution quality streaming.

Beautiful music
Working together, S-Master HX and DSWW HX deliver an impressive sound, made for High-Res. Sony’s S-Master amp is 100% digital which generates more power without distortion and reduces noise levels for the precision required for high frequency ranges. And the Digital Sound enhancement Engine HX (DSEE HX) upscales compressed digital music files, leveraging them closer to the quality of High Resolution Audio.

Wireless convenience
A new audio technology from Sony is LDAC. This allows you to stream high quality wireless audio via Bluetooth, with three times the data transmitted.
With thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi, you’ll also be able to access stored and new music through Google Cast and AirPlay (iOS only). A DLNA connection also means that you’ll be able to connect and stream music from your PC, TV and portable servers to the wireless speaker via your home LAN system.

This can all be controlled from your Smartphone with SongPal 3.0 which is available on iOS and Android. This great app will grant access to all your favourite tracks, and customise the sound settings too, all from your smart device.

Grow your music
The SongPal app can even offer multiroom listening. This enables you to play the same song or different song in each room throughout the home. Using Songpal Link, you can group Link selected Sony soundbars and speakers together and stream music from different music services.
