Night Routine

Cleansing your face with Evanesce Crème can be revolutionary for just about any skin type and condition! It may sound counter-intuitive to wash your face with our oil but the results are incredible!

Evanesce dissolves excess oils on your skin as well as makeup and sunblock in a very natural, organic way, without the surfactants, harsh ingredients, or man-made preservatives found in foaming cleansers. This means that your face gets a very deep clean, without stripping or disrupting your microbiome. This cleanse is so thorough and the moisturising effect of Evanesce so deep, that it’s best to do this at night only and just rinse with water in the morning.

After switching to this regime, most people notice clearer, softer, brighter skin, fewer blackheads, more balanced natural facial oil production and a sense of ritual and grounding in their night-time routine.

1. If your wearing heavier makeup, start by removing that with some Evanesce Crème on a cotton pad. If you only have light makeup, you can skip this.
2. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry.
3. Melt a little Evanesce Crème in the palm of your hand (remember a little goes a long way!), spread over both palms and apply to your full face and neck.
4. Take at least a full minute to massage the oil into your skin, focusing on your specific areas of congestion and muscular tension. This will give your face some much needed love, dissolve the tensions of the day, provide deep hydration, activate blood and lymph circulation in the deeper layers of your skin as well as clean your pores.
5. The key to the process working is the warm facecloth removal. Use hot water to wet your cloth, wring it out, drape it over your face and press the warmth into your skin. Next, remove all of the oil with the cloth; you may need to rinse the cloth a few times. Make sure you are thorough but not rough; this step gives the added benefit of gentle exfoliation.
6. In the morning, just rinse with warm water.

Skin Nourishment

Saturated Fats: Predominantly, these saturated fats are medium chain fatty acids or triglycerides. When applied on the skin, they keep it smooth to the touch. Due to the presence of these fats, coconut oil also retains the moisture content of the skin, as the fats eliminate moisture loss through the pores on skin.

Capric /Caprylic/Lauric acid: These are not very different from the medium chain fatty acids, but it is still important to mention them separately here, since they have their own contributions. These three fatty acids have strong disinfectant and antimicrobial properties. As a result, when applied on the skin, coconut oil protects from microbial infections that can get into open wounds or even enter the body through the pores.

The best property of coconut oil that makes it so beneficial for skin is that it does not become rancid, allowing it to work over a longer period.

Anti-Oxidant

Make-Up Remover

Evanesce Crème even works on waterproof mascara! Take a little on a cotton pad to remove your make up. The oil breaks down waxy, inky eye makeup and leaves the delicate area hydrated.

Hair

Smooth a tiny amount of Evanesce Crème onto your ends of your hair to add a little shine, or on flyaways. Remember that a dab will do you: Any more and your hair might appear greasy.

Virgin Coconut Oil is excellent for increasing hair’s strength and vitality, and therefore it’s appearance of being shiny and free of splint ends and damage.

Dampen you hair slightly, and then apply warmed, liquefied Evanesce Crème to strands, particularly focusing on distribution on the ends where the oldest part of the strand is and where the most damage is typically found. Using it this way would make for healthier, more robust tresses that are more resistant to breakage and softer to the touch. Leave for 2 hours and wash with a mild shampoo.

Lip Balm

Use a little Evanesce Crème to sooth and moisturise your lips. The virgin coconut oil provides organic hydration and nourishment to this very sensitive area.

Wounds

The ultra-cold pressed, organic virgin coconut oil of Evanesce Crème has high levels of medium chain fatty acids, which dramatically increase the rate at which wounds heal by stimulating collagen production and turn-over.
